3rd International Conference on Physicians and Surgeons

About Conference
3rd International Conference on Physicians and Surgeons (Physicians 2020) is organized by PULSUS, will be held in Dubai. The city of Dubai is the largest and most populated city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the capital city of the emirate of Dubai, UAE. The city is sometimes called “Dubai City” to prevent it from being mixed up with the emirate. Dubai has many malls and one of the most famous around the world is called Dubai Mall, which is the largest mall in the world. Dubai has lots of skyscrapers and wealthy people. Dubai International Airport is located the middle of the city. This city is a safe place for living. Dubai is a city which promotes happiness, safety and the wellbeing of its residents. Dubai has attracted world attention through large construction projects and sports events, the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa. By 1960s, Dubai’s economy was based on revenues from trade and, to a smaller extent, oil exploration concessions, but oil was not discovered until 1966. Oil revenue first started to flow in 1969. Dubai’s oil revenue helped accelerate the early development of the city, but its reserves are limited, and production levels are low: today, less than 5% of the emirate’s revenue comes from oil

The theme of the conference is ‘’Heal and Repair with Doctors’’

SESSION 01: Coronary Diseases

Coronary heart disease is the most common cause of death for all the people in the world. Coronary heart disease affects the blood vessels that supply the heart with blood and oxygen. The blood vessel becomes narrow inside and less blood can get through. If the arteries become too clogged, the heart may not be able to work properly. It is estimated that more than 16 million Americans have coronary artery disease (CAD) and 8 million have had a myocardial infarction (MI).

Coronary Artery Disease
Cardiovascular Disease
Myocardial Infraction
Arteriosclerosis

SESSION 02: Arrhythmia

Arrhythmia is the improper beating of the heart. This is due to the failure in the cardiac electrical impulse. Mostly there may be no symptoms for the irregular beating of the heart. Some symptoms include chest pain, fluttering in the chest, fainting or dizziness. The doctors will predict Arrhythmia only by the Electrocardiogram (ECG). The irregular rhythm of the heart beat waves proves the fault in the beating of the heart. During this condition the heart beat will be either too fast or too slow.

Atrial fibrillation
Supraventricular tachycardia (SVT)
Ventricular tachycardia
Ventricular fibrillation
Long QT syndrome

SESSION 03: Inherited Disorder

The Inherited Disorder is a condition which presents from the birth due to the abnormality in the Genome. The change in the genome entirely affects the DNA, generation after generation. That’s why the syndrome/disease is inherited throughout the family tree. The change in the single mutated gene cause 4000 human diseases. Inherited Disorder is considering to be the most severe problem for the normal people from the birth.

Sickle Cell Anaemia
Marfan Syndrome
Alzheimer Disease
Turner Syndrome

SESSION 04: Otorhinolaryngology

The Study about diagnosis, treatment, management of the diseases, abnormality and other health problem affecting Ear, and Throat, as well as the head and neck, mouth, sinuses, and voice box (larynx), is known as Otorhinolaryngology. This is considering to be the oldest medical practice in the United States. The most occurring problem related to the otorhinolaryngology’s deaf, dumb.

Dysphagia
Hearing loss
Cholesteatoma
Otitis Media

SESSION 05: Ovarian Disorder and Diseases

Many women are offered to get the ovarian problems and diseases from the young age itself. One such main and common cause among the women is Polycystic Ovary disease. In polycystic ovarian disease, the follicle doesn't burst after the growth. This leads to the accumulation of the egg from the follicle and begins to form a sac commonly refer to a cyst. It is formed below the surface of the ovary. The release of the egg at regular menstrual cycle is failed due to the formation of the cyst at the ovaries. Lack of ovulation results in the cessation of menstrual periods, infertility. Nowadays, there are many ovarian problems arises to women of all ages.

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome
Ovarian Cyst
Premature Ovarian Failure
Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome

SESSION 06: Decline in Cancer Mortality

The uncontrollable growth of cell division causes cancer. Cancer is not the genetical disorder, it is caused mostly due to the environmental risk and behaviour modification. Cancer cannot be predicted at the early stage. The symptoms of the cancer are seen only at the end stage. Most of the people die due to the lack of medication, an absence of early detection, in some case people ignore the symptoms of cancer due to lack of awareness. Mortality in cancer increases globally at every year. Irrespective of the ages people are suffering from cancer. Bone cancer and Leukaemia cancer are still lacking in the curing techniques and medication.

Lung and Bronchial Cancer
Leukaemia
Breast Cancer
Intrahepatic Bile Duct Cancer

SESSION 07: Neurotrophic

The formation of the vertebrate Nervous system is characterized by widespread programmed cell death, which determines cell number and appropriate target innervation during development. Neurotrophin are highly expressed during early development and have been shown to be essential for survival of selective populations of neurons during different developmental periods. The role of neurotrophic factors is seen in the development of the nervous system. During development, neurons approaching for the growth required limited amounts of target-derived neurotrophic factors (two different receptors, the Trk receptor tyrosine kinase and the p75 neurotrophin receptor). In this way, the nervous system moulds itself to maintain only the most competitive and appropriate connections. During this development the limited about of the receptors are required for the growth of the neurons. From these two different cases will emerge:

First, the efficacy of neuronal survival will depend upon the amounts of trophic factors produced during development. If the amount exceeds the target level, then the defects will cause.

Second, specific receptor expression in responsive cell populations will dictate neuronal responsiveness.

Depending upon these there are some neurotrophic factors which lead to both defects and growth depending upon the level of action takes place.

Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor
Nerve Growth Factor
Ciliary Neurotrophic Factor
Glial cell line-derived Neurotrophic Factor

SESSION 08: Internal Medicine

The medical specialty who give consultation to all the people for diagnosis and medical treatment. An internist is commonly referred to the Internal Medicine Physician. Internal medicine required to have concentrated more on the outpatient and they have the clinical experience with all the therapeutic treatment in the general medicine panel. The internist is mostly having all the knowledge in the General medicine. They have at least minimum of one-year experience in the field of general medicine during the medical practice. The Internist not only targeted for the consultation, they also try to understand the patients' mentality of all age group and medicate them accordingly.

Endocrinology
Diabetes
Metabolism
Allergy
Haematology

SESSION 09: Immunodeficiency Diseases

In healthy individuals, the Immune response comprises two phases. The first phase of defence is the Natural immune response (innate immune) system, which does not allow any micro-organism to enter the body. This will also destroy the infection alone but usually; the Natural immune response will contain the infection long enough for the adaptive immune (Acquired immune) system to activate. The adaptive response is the second line of defence and takes several days to assemble. The response is specific to the microbe and leaves a lasting immune memory, which makes the response to act immediately when it senses the visit of the same infectious disease. In a person with an immunodeficiency disorder, one or more components of either the adaptive or Natural immune response is impaired, resulting in the body being unable to effectively resolve infections or disease. This leaves immunodeficient individuals at high risk of recurrent infection and exposed to conditions that would not usually be of concern to otherwise healthy individuals

Chronic Granulomatous Disease
Wiscott-Aldrich Syndrome
DiGeorge Syndrome
Agammaglobulinemia

SESSION 10: Contagious Diseases

A Contagious Disease otherwise known as the communicable disease is one that is spread from one person to another through a medium of transmission Diseases spread depends on the specific disease or infectious agent. Some ways in which communicable diseases spread are by, Physical contact with an infected person, such as through touch (staphylococcus), sexual intercourse (gonorrhoea, HIV), faecal/oral transmission (hepatitis A) or droplets (influenza, TB). Contact with a contaminated surface or object, food, blood (HIV, hepatitis B), or water (cholera). Bites from insects or animals capable of transmitting the disease (mosquito: malaria and yellow fever) and travel through the air during coughing.

SESSION 11: 3D-Printing in Medicine

The Production of 3-Dimensional solid objects from a digital file is known as 3D printing. It is the part of the innovative process called additive manufacturing. The object is formed by the layering process, in which the layer of material is added one above the other to form model. It allows the designer and engineer to create the complex parts for cars, machines or airplanes. These are cheaper and takes less time than any other production method. Currently, this rapidly growing technology has a development in the Field of Medicine. To make the organs repair modification, implantations and tissue replacement.

SESSION 12: Neurosurgery

The medical Specialty concerned with the prevention, diagnosis, surgical treatment, and rehabilitation of disorders which affects the nervous system including the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves and extra-cranial cerebrovascular system is Neurosurgery. The specialization of the neurosurgery deals with spine surgery and brain surgery. Most of the people mistakenly believe that neurosurgery is limited only to the brain, but spinal procedures are the important aspect of the neurosurgery. Most neurological symptoms are numbness, muscle weakness, and loss of bowel and bladder control due to dysfunction at the nerve root.

SESSION 13: Laser Technology in Medicine

The Laser is the device that emits the strong beam of monochromatic light with the different frequency which is used to cut, burn or destroy tissue. The laser technology in the field of medicine is one the best advance and growth in the field of surgery. The usage of laser reduced the risk of operation, loss of blood, fast recovering, time efficient. Because the laser beam is so small and precise, it allows healthcare providers to safely treat tissue without injuring the surrounding area. Lasers can be used for many medical purposes.

Skin Treatment
Vision Treatment
Tissues Treatment
Tumour Treatment

SESSION 14: Dysfunction of Liver

The Liver is the largest organ of our body. The liver acts as the production and graveyard for the red blood cell (erythrocytes) and it helps in the production of bile, the amino acid. The liver also helps remove waste products from the blood and regulates levels of chemicals in the body. Some of the diseases that affect the liver include infectious hepatitis, cirrhosis (scarring of the liver), liver failure, Gilbert’s syndrome, bile flow abnormalities and blood flow abnormalities. Some medications may also cause liver damage. Treatments for these conditions vary depending on the disease and its causes.

Cirrhosis
Epstein Barr Virus
Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease
Hemochromatosis

SESSION 15: Breath Analysis

Breath Analysis is the easy way of diagnosis of disease Non-invasively. Growing research suggests breath tests can be used to detect a variety of diseases, from low-level illness to various cancers. Research is still early in some areas and there are other factors beyond disease that can result in chemical markers in the blood and breath, but some medical institutions are already using the tests of a variety of diagnosis.

Colorectal Cancer Detection
Lung Cancer Detection
Chronic Low Respiration Detection
Intolerance of Carbohydrates

SESSION 16: Renal Dysfunction

When the kidneys fail to remove metabolic end-products from the blood and regulate the fluid, electrolyte, and pH balance of the extracellular fluids is termed to the Renal Failure condition. The Renal failure can occur as an acute or a chronic disorder. Acute renal failure is abrupt in onset and often is reversible if recognized early and treated appropriately. In contrast, chronic renal failure is the result of irreparable damage to the kidneys. The Chronic renal failure condition will lead to Dialysis and even for some extreme cause to Kidney Transplantation. Most of the times, the renal dysfunction is only termed to the Chronic kidney failure condition.

Interstitial Nephritis

SESSION 19: Awareness about Health and Hygiene

Life is a great struggle, and health is the best weapon to be successful in the battle of life. A healthy man can enjoy life in every way. An unhealthy man lives a most miserable life. He may have intelligence, merit and wealth, but he cannot put them to use and reap their benefits. In this competitive world, people are running behind the technology and money, eating the junk foods and polluting the inner content of the body. There is no diet maintain ace among the people, so there is fitness and suffers from obesity. Because of these, even at young age people suffering from lack of calcium leading to the Bone deficiency, vision deficiency even at small age children are wearing the speculates.
